With a view to staff safety it is recommended that high-level disinfectants be neutralized prior to disposal.  In some States this is mandatory.  Kem manufacture neutralizer powder and solution for both Cidex OPA, Glutaraldehyde and Formaldehyde which are toxic chemicals.   The glutaraldehyde and OPA neutralizing products use glycine as the active neutralising agent and in the case of the OPA neutralizer it has a glycine free base.

There are also Neutralizing Mats/Wipes for these three chemicals.  These Mats/Wipes can be used as part of the daily protocol to assist in minimizing exposure when cleaning of minor spills or splashes of the toxic chemicals.

We can supply you with a personal size Emergency Eyewash Solution of buffered saline solution through to the larger Eyewash Stations depending on the area you need to cover.  Lens Cleaner Wipes and Personal Equipment Wipes are also available.
